Our client felt unsafe climbing the steep, rocky hill from her parking area to her house and commissioned a design for a funicular to take her and her guests from a lower landing to an upper deck. I managed this project with minimal oversight from schematic design to construction documents. My job involved researching and communicating with manufacturers, studying topographical requirements, specifying the geometry for the track, and creating models and drawings.
