We were approached by a client who is working to improve medical access to rural areas of Africa. I took on this project as a pro bono opportunity that would allow me to explore a new software and workflow. The goal was to design a modular facility that can be made from materials easily acquired across the continent. The facility we designed will act as a base for medical staff in larger cities to work out of and reach out to less populated areas. This will allow for direct communication with doctors and specialists who will be able to diagnose and direct the treatment of patients from afar. I modeled and created marketing materials and drawings for the client’s presentation to investors.
