My name is Sydna Mundy, and I am an architectural designer. I am passionate about innovative design, sustainable practices, and team collaboration.
Originally from Virginia, I graduated from the University of Virginia Architecture School in Charlottesville in 2014. As a student, I worked closely with the University’s fabrication facilities, researching the potential of new materials and technologies in architecture. My work in digital fabrication ranged from robotics to CNC machining to explorations into virtual reality.
Upon graduating, I developed my skills for three years in landscape architecture for Kennon Williams Landscape Studio while moonlighting as a CNC laser technician, graphic designer, and committee chair for a local nonprofit. After leaving for a 7-month odyssey around the country in a van, I landed in Boulder, Colorado where I worked for Arcadea Architecture as an architectural designer and project manager. In 2019, I moved to Boston where I completed my Master’s degree in architecture at Wentworth Institute of Technology while working as a Graduate Fellow for the fabrication shops in the Center for Applied Research.
